Employment Law UK Limited was founded in 1997 by current director, Elizabeth Vanbergen, who was called to the Bar in 2002 and is a non-practising barrister. Having trained at the Inns of Court, she is now a member of Lincoln’s Inn and the Employment Law Bar Association.

Elizabeth Vanbergen has a degree in Law from the University of London, and a post graduate diploma from the College of Law in her academic training as a solicitor.

Since starting the company, she has been a guest on BBC Radio Kent's morning show, fielding phone-in questions on employment law from listeners; and she has also given an extended interview for ITV's documentary "Jobs From Hell" outlining the legal issues surrounding employment matters featured.

Elizabeth Vanbergen has been interviewed following Employment Tribunal hearings for South East News on ITV Meridian, and many of her cases have had national press coverage.
